This shooter is in the second segment of the all-gun stage. He is firing shotgun slugs at the silhouette targets to the left. He's already shot the 70-yard rifle segment and moved forward to the shotgun part; next, he'll advance to the barricades and engage the pistol targets partly visible downrange.
This competitor is taking on the difficult obscured rifle targets in the double-quad setup in the middle of the two soft-cover pistol target arrays.
Here, the same shooter has advanced to engage
the swingers behind the no-shoot-target obscured barricade. The active
targets can be seen to the right of the barricade tilted to the right.
These are activated by a popper target already knocked down and are not an easy
one to get as the careen back and forth behind the no-shoots.
Steel going down. The shooter has taken his shotgun and started working on the falling plates and poppers in this segment prior to moving downrange to the barricade visible on the right for the pistol targets
The same shooter, his shotgun in the rack in the foreground, is now working on knocking down the poppers that will activate the turning targets just beyond the no-shoot silhouettes to his right.
Here's a closer look at the turner setup: left popper is down, the left turner has turned, and the shooter is knocking down the other popper to get the turn on the right swiveler.
The clapper targets make a shooter work fast. There's a downed popper visible on the (spanking new) gravel to the left of the shooter, and the left-side clapper is just closing up as the shooter finishes his two shots at the momentarily-visible active target.. Next, he'll get the other popper (not visible beyond the shooter) to start the open-and-shut action on the right clapper.
A competitor clears the poppers on the shotgun stage. After the six steel targets are downed, six clay pigeon targets on stakes are exposed, demanding a fast reload to powder them on the way to finishing the run.
